Latin America

In collaboration with Fondación Huellas, Colombia | Featured in a Jersey City Theater Center production

This series reflects three months of travel through Latin America, with time spent in Panama, Colombia, and Peru. In Panama, I visited remote indigenous communities—including the Kuna, Naso, and Ngöbe-Buglé—learning about matriarchal structures and self-sustaining ways of life. In Colombia, I volunteered for two months teaching photography in a barrio of Medellín and traveled around the country. In Peru, I felt the Inca legacy and how its history remains visible in everyday life. Across these regions, I was drawn to stories of women, labor, and cultural resilience.
